Easy Bread for barnehage and home

This is a great recipe for easy bread it only has to rise once and then you can bake it straight away. this recipe is milk and egg free.

makes 3 loaves

preheat the oven to 180c

Ingredients

1 kg         plain four

600 gr     wholemeal flour

0.5           tablespoon salt

2.5           tablespoons dried yeast

3.0           tablespoons oil

9 dl          warm water

put all the ingredients except the water in a mixing in bowl and give it a quick mix  then add the water till you have a dough you may need a little more water just keep adding till you have a soft and a but sticky dough. Mix on medium speed for about 5 minutes.. Then put in a bowl and cover with cloth and leave till doubled in size. 

Turn out on a floured work top and just give it quick knead. then cut the dough into 3. take one piece of dough and shape into a fat loaf shape then put on a baking tray and cut the top of the loaf with a knife so you have about 4 cuts on the top. Leave for about 5 minutes then bake in a hot oven for about 15 minutes. when you think the bread is ready you can tell if you tap the bottom and it sounds hollow.

Leave to cool, it is best served on the day you make it but it also freezes very well.
