This bread is made using spelt flour and put into a baking tin the rise and bake. The tin i use had a pattern at the bottom which gives the lovely effect.
Makes 3 loaves
Pre heat oven for 190oc
Ingredients
1.2kg Spelt flour
400gr Plain flour
2.5tbs Dried yeast
1 tsp Sugar
2 tbs Oil
10lt Warm water
pinch of salt
in a large bowl put the yeast, sugar and oil add about 1 dl warm water and leave the yeast mixture untill it starts to bubble up. In a large mixing bowl add the flours and and salt, add teh yeast mixture and half the water. mix and the add the rest of the water till you have a soft dough.
Knead the dough for 5 minutes till smooth and then place in a bowl and cover with cling film and leave to double in size. once doubled knead again and the divide into 3, roll one portion into a fat sausage shape and put into the loaf tin do the same with the rest of the dough. Leave to rise again then place in the pre heated oven.
The bread is ready when golden brown and sounds hollow when you tap the bottom.
